After a diverse work background from electrician to Prison Officer, formal Christian ministry commenced for me in 1995. Having completed a Bachelor of Ministries and Diploma of Theology at Morling College, I was ordained and accredited by the Baptist Association of NSW and ACT in 1999. I have served in local church ministry in Western Sydney since, and followed a call by God to work in the area of Church Health with Greater West for Christ (GWFC), the regional ministry of the Baptist Association in Western Sydney, in 2016.
During the time with GWFC, I served in four Baptist churches in the region as a transitional pastor, seeking to clarify vision, purpose, mission, and values, preparing them for the next era, assisting the calling of a new pastor.
I have an amazing wife, Wendy, and two wonderful adult daughters. My desire is to be continually shaped and moulded by Jesus Christ, to be his disciple and make disciples of Jesus, so that his body, the church, might be one day presented to him as his beautiful and perfect bride.
In our spare time, Wendy and I (more Wendy than I) raise guide dog puppies for Guide Dogs NSW. It is not unusual for us to bring a guide dog in training to church on Sundays.
